A Message from Our Mayor

Lisa Magara

On behalf of the town of Legal, I would like to wish the Legal Vipers a great 6th season of senior men's hockey. In many small towns across Alberta, people, young and old, gather at their local rinks to watch Canada's game and Legal is no exception. Many lifelong friendships are made here at the local rink and pride and community spirit are cultivated by cheering on the home team.

It's great to see Legal continue to have a senior men's hockey team. What a great inspiration for all the young athletes of Legal, to see you the Vipers, continue to display dedication and sportsmanship to a game you love. I wish the Legal Vipers a successful hockey season this year and many more to come!

Lisa

Play for money and fun!

Ray Tremblay: Vipers website

As mentioned previously, the Vipers' Executive Committee is striving to get more fan involvement during the Vipers' home games. At the Vipers' home opener on Friday the 15th the game "Soar to Score" was launched during the first intermission. Here is what it is all about!!

The game is very simple. All you have to do is buy a frisbee ticket, and hope your number will be called to qualify you for the actual Frisbee toss. Two people only will qualify for the toss. Tickets are selling for $2.00 each and entitle you to 11 Frisbees. The actual competition take place at the Zamboni entrance and the object of the game is to shoot your Frisbees in the goalie's net which is located some 50 feet or so from the Zamboni door. The person with the most Frisbees in the net at the conclusion of the competition wins a $20.00 gift card from the Legal Arena Concession plus a Frisbee signed by all the Vipers. Also the individual winners at every game will qualify for a final toss on the last home game of the season for a mini remote controlled helicopter.

So, it is that simple. A two dollar investment could easily become a $20.00 certificate. An $18.00 gain in less than 20 minutes. I believe this is more than matching any bank in terms of interest gained. Go for it.

Thank You to Our Supporters

Year after year, our biggest supporters are, of course, our fan. Without fan support it would be difficult for the Vipers to survive. The Vipers appreciate your patonage and today Ray's Web is proud to set a page aside for you the fans.

Numerous photos of the fans are taken during intermissions or during game time. See if you can find yourself in the photos published on this page. If you are not visible, it could be because you were not at the game. In that case we invite you to come to the Vipers games and you may end-up on the page
