Vipers Honour Roll

Roger was the Legal Vipers' first coach from the time of their inception into the NCHL in 2006, to the end of the 2009 season last March. For each of those three years the Vipers continually improved year after year and made the play-offs on a regular basis. In his second year of coaching Roger was named coach of the year by the NCHL, an honour that will remain with him forever. He is now the first individual to be inducted in the Vipers' Honour Roll. It was warming to see the players standing tall and proud, at their blue line at the end of the first period on Nov. 7^th to present Roger with a plaque commemorating his three years of dedicated service to the players and the league. André DeChamplain, on behalf of his teammates was all smiles when he made the presentation. You could tell that the award meant a lot to Roger and the players as Roger accepted it and thanked the players warmly as they vacated the ice to retire in the dressing room where more pleasantries were exchanged between the former coach and his players.
